Our History

  • Founded by Richard Sniezek, a former Marine Corps finance officer and business developer in mergers and acquisitions, Diamondback Bookkeeping was established to offer professional bookkeeping services to small and middle-market businesses. Richard, the son of two business owners, grew up witnessing his father's success in building a business from the ground up and his mother’s dedication to nurturing a third-generation family company.

    Richard brings extensive experience to the table, including managing $70 million in annual appropriated Department of Defense funding for 2- and 3-star commands and overseeing more than $1 billion in funding for special projects abroad with direct congressional oversight. He holds a BBA from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. In his spare time, Richard enjoys going to the gym, reading, and following geopolitical affairs.
